LOTHAR KRIEG October 18, 1953 - July 10, 2012 Dearest Husband, Dad, and loving Friend, Lothar. It was one year ago today that you were taken from us. Wonderful memories have kept us going through this hard year and they will continue to give us strength through the years to come. "Yeah I love my baby, my heart and soul, Love like ours will never grow old". We miss "you", "your smile", "your laughter", but the memories you left us are what keeps us smiling and laughing through the loneliness and tears. Lothar, Dad, Friend, you are deeply and sadly missed by all!

Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Lothar it's been one week since your memoriam came out and I was trying to remember something you told me last Christmas but I just couldn't put it into words. You're right the little things are what mean the most!! I miss that we won't be exchanging our favorite things at Xmas, I miss you peeking in your little mirror checking to see who is walking in the office, I miss seeing your Coors Light lunchbox on the shelf, EVERYTHING!! We still proudly have your picture up in the office and I miss seeing you everyday!! I know you had a hand in the life changing event that happened to me a few weeks ago at work and want to tell you I miss you soo much and think about you all the time!!! Until we meet again Lothar! :) - Posted by: Leah Morin (friend/coworker) on: Jul 18, 2013

  • Lothar has been my friend most of my life and I'm not that young. Words are just not enough. Missing him terribly. - Posted by: Deana Rasmussen (Friend) on: Jul 13, 2013

  • My family has lived a little ways down from the Krieg's for yrs. My sister and myself went to school with Liz and Krista and we all grew very close throughout the years and even when life became busy and we grew up we could still count on our amazing neighbours. When I was pregnant Lothar came over and helped my dad finish a basement suite for me and my upcoming daughter. He didn't want money or anything. He helped out of kindness bc that is the man Lothar was. He has truly been missed over the last yr. - Posted by: Jena (friend and neighbour) on: Jul 10, 2013

  • A gentle soul with a wonderful smile. Miss the cheese cakes, drinks, laughs, but most of all you. - Posted by: Ken and Bev Barnes (Friend) on: Jul 10, 2013

  • Uncle Lothar taught me the joy of the outdoors, camping, fishing, horseshoes and a belief that anything worth doing was worth doing well. Uncle Lothar was one of the biggest influences in my life growing up and his spirit and attitude towards life will forever be with me. I think about him almost everyday and hope to pass on his great qualities to my own children and in that way we will keep his memory forever. Love you always uncle. - Posted by: Nathan Thiessen (Nephew) on: Jul 10, 2013

  • Lothar I only got to meet once but he sure did a good job of making me feel welcome in his home. Made me a killer drink and gave me my first ever shot of Absinthe! Sad I didn't get to have another drink with him. - Posted by: CORY THOMAS (FRIEND) on: Jul 10, 2013
